Very sorry folks but I still require further medical treatment as a result of last year's road traffic accident so unfortunately I will not be operating the service again this year. I apologise for any inconvenience and hope that next year the service will return. (Angus March 2023)

Our Service

For those who are considering the more remote mountains of Glen Cannich and Glen Affric then look no further. Save yourself from that long slog in to reach those out of the way Munros by taking The Loch Mullardoch Ferry Boat. The service runs from January until the beginning of August, weather permitting. We offer a fully licensed & insured service designed to meet out customers needs. Starting times can be arranged to suit your plans whether being taken up the Loch or being picked up after completing your walk.


The most popular routes are, taking the ferry up the Loch and returning on the North side taking in the four Munros An-Sochach, An-Riabachan, Sgurr na Lapaich & Carn nan Gobhar saving the punishing walk along the North shore. On the South side you can be dropped of at the bottom of Beinn Fhionnlaidh take in Carn Eighe, Tom a' Choinich and Toll Creagach then return to the dam at Loch Mullardoch. Another popular trip is to be dropped of at the west end of the loch for access to Mullach na Dheiragain. Return trips possible on all routes. All of these routes are quite strenuous and require a good level of fitness.
